Applied Expert Systems makes a big impression at NSTC in Anaheim - they got the picture!

AES provided both an unmistakable presence in the exhibit hall and a powerful presentation. In addition to the abundance of information provided to NSTC attendees received from AES, they also got a clear picture of fun with the two drawings AES hosted - hopefully clearer than our photos of them!!

We hope everyone had as much fun at the show as we did, meeting new friends and catching up with old ones!

Patricia Vandever of MasterCard (shown here with Mary Costello of AES) pictured herself as the winner for the drawing at AES President Catherine Liu's presentation, taking home a classy new digital camera.

Ronald Williamson of KOHL'S (shown here with Al Rodriguez of AES) pictures himself getting hours of enjoyment from the snazzy new portable DVD player he won at the AES end-of-show drawing in their booth.

Applied Expert Systems draws crowds at SHARE in New York City

Applied Expert Systems returned to the SHARE Technology Exchange held this time in New York City, from August 15-20, 2004. AES' VP of Engineering, David Cheng, addressed a packed audience with an informative presentation on FTP Analysis via SMF Records, FTP Server Exits and Logging, and CLEVER cTrace (see the Session Abstracts from the SHARE proceedings). The AES booth staff was kept extremely busy by several hundred SHARE delegates who visited to learn about the latest Business Service Management solutions.

The crowds gathered around the booth once more in anticipation of winning an Apple iPod! This time it was Davis Wells of Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Assoc. (pictured here with AES' own Mary Costello and Diane O'Mara) who took home the ubiquitous digital jukebox.

We took pleasure in meeting and greeting many familiar attendees, as well as a host of new visitors. If you missed us this time, be sure to come and see us in Anaheim in February of 2005.

Business Service Management solutions we featured:
CLEVER TCP/IP, CLEVER eRoute, CLEVER cTrace, CLEVER Web

Applied Expert Systems had a great show at the SHARE Technology Exchange in Long Beach, which ran from February 23-25. David Cheng, VP of Engineering for AES, gave an informative and well-received presentation on FTP Analysis via SMF Records and FTP Server Exits (available through the proceedings that may be downloaded at SHARE. And that was just the beginning. There was plenty of fun to be had at the Ice Cream Social hosted by AES on the second night of the show.

Just ask Aldo Muraca, pictured here with company president Catherine Liu. He left with more than just ice cream when he won the snazzy remote control car given away that night!

And I'm sure Arlene Okino (pictured here with director of sales, Bob Trygg) will tell you that it was music to her ears when her name was selected from the crowd of attendees gathered around the AES booth in hopes of taking home a shiny new 15 GB Apple iPod!!

All in all, everyone at Applied Expert Systems had a great time visiting with old friends and making new ones. If you didn’t get to stop by our booth in Long Beach, be sure to come see us in New York this August 16-18!!!

Applied Expert Systems at CMG National - Innovation and iPods Invite Interest

Within the striking architecture of the Hyatt Regency in Dallas, the Computer Measurement Group held its 2003 National Conference in December. Performance management professionals from far and wide gathered to share their knowledge of cutting-edge technologies and have a little fun. Applied Expert Systems has been presenting and exhibiting at the CMG National Conference for years, and this year was no exception. AES software developer Roger Kovach, whose experience spans more than four decades, gave a highly informative presentation that discussed the increasingly critical area of end-to-end Web transaction monitoring - an area in which AES is making tremendous headway through innovative technologies. Adding to the excitement of this enlightening presentation was the drawing held at the end of the presentation. It is safe to say that Marc Mérel was particularly excited as he walked out with his prize - a shiny, new Apple iPod!

In addition to presenting, Applied Expert Systems made its presence known in the exhibit hall, as well, providing product demos, including a real-time demonstration of the innovative CLEVER Web, which addresses those issues Roger spoke about in his presentation. And who didn't know AES was there once the crowds began to gather for yet another drawing! This time it was Luc Gariépy who went home with a song in his heart - and room for a thousand more with his new iPod!!

It was a great conference and all of us at AES look forward to the next one! We hope to see you there!

Sept 30 - AES presented at the Southern CMG conference in Richmond, VA

"It's All About Performance" presentation well received at SHARE and NSTC

New products from AES were well received at the SHARE conference in Washington D.C. (August 10-15) and the NSTC conference in Miami (August 25-27). Network management professionals were especially receptive to the depth of support offered by the CLEVER ePerformance product line. By measuring end-to-end Web transactions, network service levels, and end-to-end route performance, the CLEVER ePerformance Solutions package offers unsurpassed end-to-end service level data for baseline establishment. In addition, such features as SysPoint, Connect Expert, LinkView, real-time monitoring, and rich historical reports, help CLEVER TCP/IP provide the data and intelligent analysis to assure service level deliveries for mission-critical eBusiness needs.

Catherine H. Liu, president of Applied Expert Systems, delivered her newest presentation, "It's All About Performance," at both conferences. She emphasized the need to establish baseline performance for mission-critical Web transactions saying, "Enterprise-wide Service Level Objectives are necessary and feasible. Service level performance data must be supported by detailed analysis for tuning, diagnostics, and capacity planning."
